Club Overview
The Melton Cycling Club has a proud history of road racing. Melton members have achieved successes in significant road races, the most notable being Anna Millward (Wilson) who in 1999 was the Australian Cyclist of the Year and the highest ranked UCI female cyclist in 2001.

In 2004 the club was the beneficiary of an off-road criterium circuit constructed by the Melton Shire Council within the Shire's MacPherson park sporting complex. This criterium circuit of 700 metres is the club's base and is used for training, skill development sessions and racing.

Since 2009, the club's focus has altered slightly with a greater emphasis on non-racing activities.  Most club members participate in our signature Sunday morning "coffee 'n' chat" ride around Melton, which is a leisurely ride (open to anyone who wishes to join in) beginning at Hannah Watts Park every Sunday morning at 8am.

In 2010, club members commenced longer training rides on Saturdays while training sessions are often held during the week (dependant on the time of year).
