ROUTE CHANGE TO SAT MORNING RIDES

We've made a bit of change to the ride on Saturday mornings. In some cases those that ride need to get back home a little earlier for other family commitments.

Saturday morning ride departing from the Melton Waves swimming pool car park.

Riders gather from 7:15 to 7:30am
The modified route for this ride (which has yet to be sanctioned or ridden by the president) is to travel up Coburns Road and then turn left into Diggers Rest-Coimadai Road and head towards Bacchus Marsh.
Depending on the amount of time riders have available or the distance they wish to travel, the options are to:
- return to Melton via Long Forest Road,
- return through Bacchus Marsh or
- continue past Bacchus Marsh and return via Melton Reservoir and Exford Road.

All being well, the longer journey will be back in Melton in approx. 2 hours.

The previous option of riding to Bacchus Marsh and joining other Bacchus Marsh cyclists there for a 1-2 hour ride is still available for individual riders who choose to do so.
